Third "date"

As you can probably tell from the last post, it's been a rollercoaster here lately, with things definitely heading in the "up" direction of late :-)

Way back after the first date, my wife and I were talking about next steps and had thought that we'd prefer to meet with him together, with the possibility of having fun all together. After the second date (and the events that transpired after), we weren't as sure and decided to table the conversation until we had some more distance and perspective on it. After slowly "dipping our toes into the pool" since the second date, with lots of talking about how we felt, both immediately after the date and in the days that followed, it was sounding more and more like we were heading towards actually sticking to our plan to meet him together. Well, I'm happy to say that as of right now, we appear to be on for this weekend :-)

So far we (we as in me, haha) have...

* booked our hotel room
* bought a tripod for the video camera
* bought tapes for the video camera

Even heard from him recently asking if we were still on, so right now looks like things are a go. Leave a comment if you can think of something we're missing!
